EAGLES MEADOW SCOOPS REGIONAL AWARD
Eagles Meadow, Wrexham’s new shopping and leisure destination, has been awarded Retail Development of the Year at the 2nd annual Wales Insider Property Awards.
The new 400,000 sq ft retail and leisure development, which, when open on October 30th, will be home to Wrexham’s first full line department store was nominated for the Award which was judged by some of the leading personalities in the property market.
In awarding Eagles Meadow with Retail Development of the Year, the judges were looking for developments that were not only commercially successful but worked to benefit the community and the broader regeneration needs of the area.
Steve Bayley, Chief Economic Development Officer at Wrexham County Borough Council said:
“The positive effect of Eagles Meadow on the community is far reaching and we are delighted that Eagles Meadow has received recognition of this with one of the region's most coveted property awards”.
