Local Demand Triggers Development at Bentley Bridge
Wilson Bowden Developments are forging ahead with the development of their recently acquired site at Bentley Bridge, Wolverhampton in response to high levels of interest.
The site has been earmarked by the developers for Industrial / Warehouse Trade Centre accommodation which, on completion, will provide 31,500 sq ft of prime space.
Following a programme of remediation work on the site the first phase of development will begin and comprises 5 terraced units of between 5,000 sq ft and 7,500 sq ft. This phase will be available for occupation in April 2008.
Stephen Pedrick-Moyle, Development Director for Wilson Bowden Developments said;
“We are progressing the Bentley Bridge site in response to strong demand from the market. This is the first speculative development of Industrial and Warehouse Trade Centre accommodation in the area and will certainly satisfy a latent occupier demand”.
Wilson Bowden Developments are expected to continue with a programme of speculative development on the remainder of the site with further units from 5,000 sq ft up to circa 90,000 sq ft. All units will be available as freehold or leasehold.
DTZ and King Sturge have been appointed marketing agents by Wilson Bowden Developments.
Melissa Wase-Rogers from King Sturge said:
“A significant amount of the interest received to date has been from local companies, this in itself confirms that there is a lack of similar property in the area. Wilson Bowden Developments have put together a programme of development that is flexible to meet local needs and all speculative units can be combined”.
Bentley Bridge Business Park is located on the A4124 in Wednesfield just ¾ mile from Wolverhampton City Centre and 4 miles from junction 10 M6.
