Bishops Stortford has excellent communication links with the rest of the UK. The M11 motorway runs parallel to the town and easy access can be gained to M25 motorway junctions. The A120 to the north of the town joins the A10 to the west and the A12 to the east.
Bishops Stortford is on the London to Cambridge mainline ensuring rapid rail connections to central London. Regular services are direct in to Liverpool Street Station with an approximate journey time of 45 minutes
Stansted airport is also on the doorstep easily reached by regular train services.
