Transforming Barnsley with a redevelopment fit for the 21st Century
The market place is being transformed with a 475,000 sq ft retail led development, putting quality shopping at the heart of Barnsley.
The development is anchored by a 94,000 sq ft Debenhams department store, with leisure level above incorporating a multiplex cinema and restaurants.
A 1200 space car park that feeds directly to the upper level of the development will enhance the current parking offered within the town.
New streets created by the development will link the town together in a cohesive fashion and direct links have been created with the new transport interchange.
This development is a joint venture with Yorkshire Forward, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Ashcroft Estates and Guildhouse.
